London Weekend Guide: 13-15 February 2026
Your insider’s guide to a brilliant Valentine’s weekend in the capital
Hello, lovely Londoners and visitors! Emma here with your weekend guide, and what a special one it is – Valentine’s Day falls on Saturday, making this the perfect weekend for romance, connection, and a bit of adventure. Whether you’re coupled up, flying solo, or celebrating with friends, I’ve got you covered.
Weather Watch: Bundle Up, Buttercup
Let’s talk about the elephant in the room first – it’s February in London, which means you’ll want to dress in layers. Expect temperatures hovering between 4-8°C with the possibility of light rain (this is London, after all). My advice? Pack a compact umbrella, wear waterproof shoes, and bring a warm scarf. The good news is that most of this weekend’s activities are indoors or have cosy pub options nearby, so you won’t be left shivering.
Top Picks for the Weekend
Friday 13th February
Your Twin Flame Journey with Theresa Cheung at Watkins Bookshop
Location: Watkins Bookshop, Cecil Court, WC2N 4EZ
What better way to kick off Valentine’s weekend than exploring the mysteries of love and connection? Theresa Cheung, the Sunday Times bestselling author, will be discussing twin flame relationships at the legendary Watkins Bookshop – one of London’s oldest esoteric bookshops, tucked away in the charming Cecil Court.
This intimate gathering is perfect for the spiritually curious, whether you’re searching for your soulmate or simply interested in the concept of deep cosmic connections. Cecil Court itself is an absolute gem – a Victorian pedestrian alley lined with antique bookshops that feels like stepping into a Harry Potter film.
Insider tip: Arrive early and browse the shop’s incredible collection. Afterwards, pop into the Lamb and Flag on Rose Street for a warming pint – it’s one of London’s oldest pubs and absolutely packed with character.

Saturday 14th February – Valentine’s Day
Holmes & the Secrets of the City – Valentine’s Day Late Afternoon Walk & Drinks
Meeting point: Bond Street tube station
This is my top pick for couples or Sherlock enthusiasts! A themed walking tour through central London exploring the mysteries and secrets of the city, followed by drinks. It’s the perfect blend of culture, exercise, and romance – plus you’ll impress your date with fascinating London trivia for weeks to come.
The walk takes you through some of London’s most atmospheric streets, and the late afternoon timing means you’ll catch that beautiful winter light as dusk falls over the city.
Insider tip: Bond Street area is heaving on Valentine’s Day, so leave extra time for travel. After the walk, I’d recommend booking a table at Pollen Street Social nearby for a special dinner – but book ahead, as everywhere gets snapped up quickly.
